Terms & Conditions

By accessing or using TrustLedger ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. About TrustLedger

TrustLedger is a peer-to-peer financial trust platform operated as a Sole Proprietorship by B. B. Rayar, based in Belgaum, India. The Platform enables users to record financial transactions, create digitally sealed paperless agreements, and build a verified trust score (Rayar Reliability Index).

TrustLedger is a record-keeping and trust-building platform. It does not provide lending, borrowing, investment, or financial advisory services. All agreements recorded on the Platform are between users themselves.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. TrustLedger is not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorised access to your account.

4. Paperless Agreements (PA)

4.1 Nature of Agreements

Paperless Agreements recorded on TrustLedger are peer-to-peer records between consenting parties. TrustLedger does not guarantee the legal enforceability of any agreement under Indian law. Users are advised to seek independent legal counsel for high-value or legally sensitive agreements.

4.2 Sealing Process

Each signing party (lender, borrower, witness) must independently review and digitally seal the agreement from their own registered account. Sealing constitutes acknowledgment and consent to the terms recorded in the agreement.

4.3 Cancellation

An agreement creator may cancel an agreement before it is fully sealed. The ₹20 booking fee is non-refundable upon cancellation. Once an agreement is fully sealed, it cannot be cancelled — only closed upon repayment declaration.

5. Service Fees

The following fees apply to Paperless Agreements:

All fees are inclusive of applicable taxes. TrustLedger reserves the right to revise its fee structure with prior notice to users.

6. Referral Programme

TrustLedger operates a multi-level referral programme. Registered users earn commissions from platform activity of users they refer, up to four referral levels. Referral earnings are credited to your account and can be withdrawn subject to minimum balance and processing conditions.

TrustLedger reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the referral programme at any time. Abuse of the referral system — including self-referrals or fraudulent referrals — will result in account suspension and forfeiture of earnings.

All content, design, code, and branding on TrustLedger is the property of [PROPRIETOR_NAME]. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

TrustLedger is provided on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, B B Rayar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including disputes between parties to an agreement.

10. Dispute Resolution

TrustLedger does not mediate or arbitrate disputes between agreement parties. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Belgaum, India.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

12. Changes to Terms

TrustLedger reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Users will be notified of significant changes via the registered contact.
